How do I Setup the Rockspace Wireless Router?

In this case, there are two different types of Rockspace routers available in the market. The methods are slightly uncommon for the both of them. Read this till the end to understand how they both work. You can use the RS wi-fi app or a web browser to set up your Rockspace AC2100 router.

Connect the hardware to the new router and turn it on. If your Internet connection does not require a modem, connect the modem or your main Ethernet cable to the router’s WAN port. The WAN LED light comes on.

Setup the Router:

The RS wi-fi app is the first method.

Download the RS wi-fi Application from the Play store or Application store. Connect your cell phone with the Rockspace switch. The label at the router’s bottom displays the default network name (SSID).

Start the RS wireless app. Your type of connectivity is automatically identified by the app. Choose your connection type manually if detection fails. Enter your Wi-Fi username and password. Select OK.

The second method involves connecting to your router:

Wireless: Look for the SSID, or network name, printed on the router’s bottom label. To connect your device to the network, select the SSID from the list of your networks.

·Wired – Use an ethernet cable to connect rockspace router to the system.

Get the router connected to the Internet.

·To access the router’s web interface, open a web browser and type http://re.rockspace.local or http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar. Select “Start.”

·The page automatically determines the type of connectivity you have. If detection fails, manually select the type of connection from the drop-down menu.

·Set your login password, Wi-Fi username, and password. Your router is configured and prepared for use.

The following is how to set up your Rockspace AC1800 smart Wi-Fi router:

· Interface the equipment and power on the new switch. If your Internet connection does not require a modem, connect the modem or your main Ethernet cable to the router’s WAN port. The WAN LED light comes on.

·The ROCK wi-fi App is the first step in configuring the router. Download the ROCK Wi-Fi App. Connect the Rockspace router to your smartphone. The label at the router’s bottom displays the default network name (SSID). Open the ROCK wi-fi application. To register as a new user, follow the on-screen instructions.

The app automatically determines the type of connectivity you use. Choose your connection type manually if detection fails. Enter your Wi-Fi username and password. Select OK.
